The Houston Water Polo Club (HWP) is a year round aquatics organization which provides continual water polo training and competition opportunities to a variety of different age groups and skill levels. The coed Houston Water Polo Club is designed to increase the playing, practicing, and growth opportunities for water polo athletes in Houston by providing ample training and competition opportunities along with local coaching and athlete development and education. Through training and competition, coaches and athletes learn valuable life lessons through sports, such as goal setting, team work, dedication, discipline, and the value of community involvement. The Club has primarily a Youth Program (athletes in high school and younger) and is affilated with HOPS an Open (Masters) Program.

The HWP Youth Programs are for athletes in high school and younger. The Club continually provides a safe, positive, teaching and development atmosphere where athletes can grow and develop valuable life skills through sports: goal setting, team work, dedication, hard work, and discipline. The Houston Water Polo Club is a region based club which operates three regional based programs: North, South, and West. In each region, we have a variety of programs for all ages and skill levels.
The HOPS Water Polo is for older (18 & over), more experienced athletes. HOPS practices year round, participates throughout the country at a variety of tournaments, and has been operating for over twenty years.
